Oregon Zoo Launches Mobile App & Interactive Zoo Map

Oregon Zoo has selected SmartParks as the platform to build and launch their new mobile guest experience app. The zoo’s 1.7 million annual guests will now be able to quickly access an interactive map with point-to-point directions, as well as daily schedules and other updates throughout their visit. We’re excited to see how The Oregon Zoo will continue to utilize the SmartParks platform for future enhancements like custom seasonal maps, scavenger hunts, and holiday guides.

Oregon Zoo was able to get their app ready-to-go in a little over a month - allowing them to launch in time for the spring break crowds.

Oregon Zoo can continue to use their existing QR codes and signage, which previously directed visitors to their static PDF map.
