Highlight: Mold-a-Matic Guide at Oklahoma City Zoo

In addition to building their complete digital map and guest experience mobile app with SmartParks, Oklahoma City Zoo has used our Guides feature to build a fun “Collect them all!” guide for their Mold-a-Matics machines throughout the zoo.

Mold-A-Matic machines are those retro coin-operated machines that melt plastic and mold it into a little figurine right in front of you in about a minute. They first showed up in the 1960s at places like zoos and science museums, and they’ve stuck around as a quirky, nostalgic souvenir experience ever since.

The SmartParks guides feature allows our customers to create simple mobile-friendly “booklets” where each page can have content, an embedded map, and an optional completion stamp. This makes it simple and easy for guests to track lists of things they’ve seen or done throughout their visit at the park. And because SmartParks apps are web-based, it’s easy to point guests directly to a guide via QR codes - no download needed.
